I recently visited the local municipality to apply for a family card so I could access the government food products available for low-income families. I had to submit a photo, provide my name and date of birth, list my family members’ names, and enter my address.
The staff at the municipality were incredibly helpful, explaining to me all of the services that were available. I could apply for a new family card, change my photo on an existing card, remove or add family members, change my address, or change the family head listed on the card.
After a short wait, my family card was ready and I left the municipality with a smile on my face. I’m grateful for this important document which will allow my family access to much needed resources.
