As a citizen of India, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having an AADHAAR Card. For me, it is like a passport, allowing me access to many government benefits and facilities that are available to every citizen.
AADHAAR Cards provide children, minors and adults with many services and resources, including but not limited to: admission into school, access to bank accounts, registering for government certificates, and registering property.
Without a AADHAAR Card, a person is literally excluded from participating in many essential tasks and privileges that most citizens of India enjoy. As such, I highly recommend to anyone in India that they register for an AADHAAR Card as soon as possible to ensure they get all the government benefits that are available to them.
